Templestone Group is a growing financial planning practice built around a team of dedicated advisers committed to delivering quality, personalised advice. As the group expanded, so did the complexity of their back-office operations, creating a need for a scalable, reliable paraplanning and support solution that could grow alongside them.
The Challenge
Templestone Group’s founding adviser needed reliable paraplanning support to manage a growing client base without compromising on advice quality. As the practice expanded and more advisers joined the group, the demand for consistent, high-quality paraplanning grew rapidly.
The group’s back-office processes lacked standardisation across its adviser team, creating inefficiencies in how Statements of Advice were produced and compliance documentation was managed. Each adviser was operating with their own approach, making it difficult to maintain consistency and quality at scale.
As Templestone continued to grow, it became clear that a fragmented, ad-hoc support model was no longer sustainable. They needed a structured, scalable solution that could unify their back-office operations and free their advisers to focus on what they do best: delivering great client outcomes.
What did NCSGX do
NCSGX relationship with Templestone Group began with part-time paraplanning support for the Founder and grew into something far more comprehensive. As Templestone expanded, NCSGX scaled alongside them, embedding deeper into their operations at every stage.
Paraplanning Support: NCSGX initially provided part-time paraplanning support for the Founder, before expanding to full-time dedicated support for the Co-founder. This early phase focused on reducing adviser workload and improving the quality and consistency of advice documentation.
Process Standardisation: As the group grew, NCSGX worked with Templestone to standardise their SOA inclusions and exclusions, compliance documentation, and back-office workflows, creating a repeatable, scalable advice production process across the group.
Dedicated Offshore Back-Office Team: NCSGX built and now manages a fully dedicated offshore team for Templestone, comprising Reviewers and Paraplanners led by a Head of Templestone. This team operates as a seamless extension of the Templestone business, supporting advisers across the group on both a dedicated and PAYG basis.

- Grew from 1 adviser supported to 5 dedicated advisers + 9 PAYG practices on board with NCSGX
